There are many clinics in the Bow Valley accepting new patients. Go to: https://albertafindadoctor.ca/ to find a clinic near you. You can meet a doctor to see if they are a good fit for you. If you would like to sign up for a family doctor in person, go to Canmore Collaborative Health at 209 - 710 10th Street in Canmore. The reception team will help you.

Parents in Alberta are eligible for payments for the dates schools were closed during the teachers' strike. The last date to apply for the Parent Payment Program was extended to December 1. Be sure to apply for the program by December 1 to receive $30/day for each day schools were closed for children age 12 and under. Additional payments are available for children up to age 18 who have FSCD contracts. Please contact swis@banff.ca if you have any challenges applying for the Parent Payment Program.
