March 16-17th AB Cup #4, the Leslie Palmai Memorial, at Epic!- Our coaches strongly encourage Epic members to attend. There will be no classes on March 16th but, instead, fencers that do not feel ready to compete, can come and watch the excitement and cheer on their clubmates
- Regular registration fee deadline is March 7th. Last day to get a t-shirt online is March 4th. Click here to register
- In order to compete, the fencer will need:
- AFA competitive membership ($55)
- Two weapons and two body cords.
- Fencers are expected to have their own equipment. We will do our best to supply equipment when absolutely necessary but cannot guarantee we have enough for everyone. Foilists will need a lame as well.
- At recent tournaments, our fencers have had some problems preparing their equipment. Therefore, we will be organizing a mandatory pre-competition equipment check on Saturday March 9th at 11:30am. This is a free service your coaches are providing to support the fencers.
- If you cannot attend this, you must arrange to check your equipment with Boris during his working hours (Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday 4-7pm). This will be an additional fee.

Arriving at the ClubA couple gentle reminders here. First, as we are well into the winter months, it is important to remember to take off your boots and leave them in the coat rack area. Additionally, don't forget indoor shoes! Secondly, we understand that managing school, jobs, other activities, and traffic can be tricky. We ask that you do your best to arrive on time for classes. Arriving on time means arriving 5 minutes early to get shoes on etc. What's more, if your kids are borrowing club equipment, arriving on time may mean arriving 10 minutes early! And remember "if you're late, you run!" In other words, show the coaches you care by joining the group as quickly as possible if you're late! When coaches see this, they know you've done your best with the circumstances of the day.
