AGF 2026 Provincial Championships Volunteers Needed!
Dear Club Members, Families, and Friends,
We are so excited to welcome your athletes, coaches, officials and families to the 2026 AGF Provincial Championships. With over 1200 athletes, coaches, and officials registered, this is going to be a fantastic celebration of gymnastics in Alberta! 🙌
To make this Championship a success, we need your help!
We are looking for volunteers starting with event setup on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 and continuing through the weekend ending on Sunday, April 12, 2026. There are a variety of roles available, ranging from helping at the admissions desk, assisting the judges, documenting the routines through video, and many more. These roles are crucial to creating the best competitive atmosphere for all of our hardworking athletes! 🤩
Volunteer signups are viewable HERE, with signups going live through the same link on Wednesday, March 11th.

🤩Who can volunteer?
Family members, friends and community supporters are all welcome! Please note that positions have age requirements.
✨ Exclusive Volunteer Perk
Volunteers will receive a free all-day pass for that day's events. (Exception of Athlete Award Volunteers)
Those helping with setup and/or tear-down, will receive a free admission on the day of their choice.
👔 Volunteer dress code
Volunteers are asked to wear all black. Once you check in for your shift, you will be provided with a volunteer button to identify you.
📃 Additional requirements
All volunteers, 18 years and older, must submit a copy of their background check completed within the last three years. Here.
If you do not currently have one and require a letter, email support@abgym.ab.ca with your legal first and last name, and we will provide a letter for you.
