Prince George Gymnastics to Host the 2026 Western Canada Cup!

GymBC is excited to announce that Prince George Gymnastics Club will host the 2026 Western Canada Cup, taking place May 8–10, 2026 at the CN Centre – Kin 1 Building in Prince George, BC!

We look forward to an incredible event celebrating athletes from across Western Canada. Information will be published on the Event Calendar as it becomes available. 

2025 WAG Judges Cup

The 2025 Virtual & In-Person WAG Judges Cup is happening on November 23, 2025! This annual event supports BC’s WAG judges and provides valuable feedback for athletes.

BC’s Gabby Flynn represented Canada at the FIG Antibes World Cup in France this past weekend! 

We’re so proud of her incredible performance on the international stage.

BC’s Shallon Olsen and coach Jared Goad are heading to the 53rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia!

Shallon has already earned two World medals in her career and we can’t wait to cheer her on as she takes the world stage once again!

2026 Artistic Elite Canada

Gymnastics Canada and Alberta Gymnastics Federation are hosting the 2026 Artistic Elite Canada, taking place February 5-8, 2026 at the BMO Centre in Calgary, AB.

Rec Director 101 - Fall 2025

Rec Gym Pros’ flagship intensive, Intro to Rec Directing, returns this fall! Running October 21 - December 19, 2025, with sessions take place Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and Fridays 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. PST.

This 8-week online course builds foundational skills for leading recreational gymnastics programs through live expert lessons, practical tutorials, and a supportive Rec Director community.

GymCan Launches Parent Support Initiative with WWPIS

Gymnastics Canada has partnered with Working with Parents in Sport (WWPIS) on a new initiative designed to educate and support parents of high-performance gymnasts across the country.

Parents of athletes aged 12–15 competing in MAG, WAG, TG, or ACRO are invited to participate in two virtual webinars focused on communication, athlete support, and building positive relationships with coaches and clubs. Participants will also receive access to online resources through a dedicated members’ portal.

The sessions will take place on October 15, and November 4, 2025, with two time slots available for each.
