RE: Acro Foundations Workshop

Looking to bring something new, dynamic, and surprisingly achievable into your recreation program? Join our Acro Foundations Workshop – the perfect starting point for coaches wanting to introduce basic acro skills in their classes or begin building an acro program in their club. You’ll be amazed at how simple it can be to get started!

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to incorporate fundamental acro skills into your existing recreational classes
  • Building strong base skills and safe progressions
  • How to structure beginner-friendly acro lessons
  • Tips for starting an acro program using the equipment you already have
  • Why acro is a growing discipline and how it can strengthen your club’s programming

This workshop will be facilitated by Katie Thompson and Maegan Kasian – recent Pan Am gold medallists who are deeply passionate about Acro and its growth in Saskatchewan. Katie and Maegan bring years of experience, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to help more clubs and coaches discover how accessible and rewarding Acro can be.

No previous experience required! Whether you’re looking to add creative partner skills into Rec classes or explore launching a full Acro program, this hands-on workshop will give you the tools, confidence, and inspiration to get started.

Please confirm your registration by December 27, 2025.

We can’t wait to see Acro grow in our province, and to help more athletes experience the joy of teamwork, creativity, and new challenges!
