2022 BCWG/CMFI Update WAG Participants - Mobility Rule Exception The mobility rule that applies to the WAG participants in the cancelled BC Winters Games 2022 will be temporarily lifted to accommodate athletes competing in the BCWG session at the CFMI at Langley Events Centre Feb 18 – 20, 2022. All Disciplines - Coaches The BCWG will run in the spirit of the Games but non-BCWG coaches will be permitted on the floor without limiting the number of coaches per zone. Free Educational Webinar for WAG Coaches: In-Person Competition and Return to In-Person Competition GymBC and the Women's Technical Committee would like to invite all GymBC registered WAG coaches to participate in a free educational webinar on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 from 9:00 am PST to 10:00 am PST. This 1hr session will feature community leaders presenting on the topic of In-Person Competition and Return to In-Person Competition. Tips and etiquette will be shared in a discussion style presentation. |

2022 TG Elite Canada TG Elite Canada will be held virtually from March 16-20, 2022. Elite Canada welcomes national athletes’ level 5 through senior in Trampoline, Double Mini and Tumbling. This event will serve as a trials for national team selection as well as selection the 2022 World Championships, 2022 World Age Group, 2022 Pan Am Championships and the 2022 World Games. Registration Deadline: February 21, 2022. |

GymBC welcomes Richard Ikeda and Jason Burnett as new MAG and TG Provincial Program Advisors Gymnastics BC (GymBC) is pleased to announce the addition of two Olympians to the roles of Provincial Performance Advisor. In the discipline of Trampoline, we welcome Jason Burnett, OLY and in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, we are excited to add Richard Ikeda, OLY, to our roster of passionate leaders. The Provincial Performance Advisor position is a fantastic opportunity created to enhance and motivate the athletes and coaches in BC. The addition of both Burnett and Ikeda to our GymBC technical team allows both to share their knowledge with the next generation of athletes. Welcome to the GymBC team, Richard and Jason! |
