2022 Awards and Scholarship Nominations Mark your calendars - the 2022 GymBC Awards & Scholarship Night will be held in conjunction with our AGM. The event is scheduled to take place over the weekend of October 22-23. We are currently accepting nominations and applications for the following: 1) GymBC Awards: This is your opportunity to nominate a deserving individual, group or club in your community! Example nominations for GymBC Awards include GFA Awards (ex. Coaches of the Year and Volunteer of the Year), as well as Life Members and Members of Distinction. Nominations can be submitted by anyone in our GymBC community, whether it be an athlete, parent, coach or club administrator. 2) GymBC Scholarships: Calling all athletes aspiring to attend (or currently attending) a post-secondary institution! GymBC is pleased to offer financial assistance to a selected number of student athletes in our community each year. Please click on the link below for further information, including eligibility criteria and a list of required documents. LF Training: Foundations, Comp 1 and Comp 2 This year, GymBC will be running multiple training sessions for new Learning Facilitators at the Foundations, Comp 1, and Comp 2 levels. If you are passionate about contributing to a healthy sport culture, growing gymnastics in BC, and leading in the development of new coaches we invite you to fill out this Learning Facilitator Application form!

LF Training (TG): July 1-3 in Langley, BC If you are a level 2 or higher certified tramp coach who is passionate about growing the sport, we invite you to apply to be trained as an Learning Facilitator (LF)! A Comp 1 LF training course will be held from July 1-3, 2022 at Flip City Gymnastics Club. LF applications can be found HERE.

Good Luck to TG Team BC in Portugal and Brazil! Best of luck to our talented TG athletes competing internationally this week. 11 athletes are gearing up for the 2022 Coimbra GymFest in Coimbra, Portugal. The event will take place over June 24-26 in Coimbra, Portugal, and includes a Senior World Cup, Age Group International Competition and a Gymnastics Festival. Team BC Age Group competitors will be joined by Team Canada Coaches, Jake Maxim and Rusty Pierce, and personal coaches Devena Steinmann and Megan Conway. Over 30 dedicated leaders and club delegates to the event.
