2025 Coach Congress: Virtual EditionGymnastics Saskatchewan is excited to host a Virtual Coaching Congress this August! This online series will feature a range of sessions led by out-of-province experts, aimed at supporting ongoing coach development across all disciplines. So far, three sessions are confirmed—with more to come! All sessions are completely FREE to attend, and most will be recorded (where possible) for those unable to join live. Pre-registration is required for each session by filling out the registration form HERE. We sincerely hope coaches across the province find these sessions valuable and are able to take part in this unique opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. We encourage athletes, coaches and participants at all levels of sport, recreation, and activity to join in and be part of our community. Sharing knowledge, experience, and stories helps build a healthy and compassionate sport ecosystem. Stay tuned as we continue to add more sessions to the lineup!

Aug 14th, 12:00-1:30PMThe Power of Praise, Ali Stoffels of Rec Gym ProsLeaders in the gym are good communicators - they clearly express expectations and use the power of positive feedback to reinforce the words, actions, behaviours & attitudes we want to see more of in the gym. Come learn one simple technique for maximum impact when you're praising your athletes (or staff!) -- and then we'll practise it too. If you're looking to see more smiles, faster progress and boost the confidence of the kids in your classes, this is a great place to start! And - by the way - this works for managers who lead staff too, and it has the power to shift the culture of your team!
