RE: Updated Calendar of Events and Event Hosting Guidelines

Hello Clubs,

Please see the updated Calendar of events below, or on our website at https://www.gymsask.com/calendar. 

A reminder to host clubs of our event hosting policies, starting on page 38 in our Operational Policies. 

Hosts must provide Gymnastics Saskatchewan the following:

  • Registration package with levels of athletes invited. 
  • Verify when registration is complete in Sportzsoft or other scoring software.
  • Registered list of athletes, coaches and judges to be sent to Gymnastics Saskatchewan 2 weeks prior to the event.
  • Verification of membership is the responsibility of each member club, and will fall under the guidelines listed under membership policies.
    • Clubs are responsible for ensuring that all sanctioned athletes and coaches are registered with GymSask through Uplifter in the proper category. Spot checks will be conducted throughout the season.
    • If an athlete or coach is found to have participated in a competition without being properly registered in Uplifter, they will be deemed a member in bad standing for the remainder of the season and will be ineligible to compete in any GymSask sanctioned events.
  • Results of event sent to Gymnastics Saskatchewan within 2 weeks of event.
