TO: Member Clubs, Coaches, JudgesRE: Member and Policy Guide UpdatesWe are pleased to announce an updated Member & Policy Guide as we head into the 2025-2026 season, effective Nov 1st. The purpose of this document is to consolidate all of our policies into one place for consistency and ease of access, and to align with best practices similar to other organizations in Canada (e.g., BC Hockey’s Policy Manual). The guide is also broken down into individual sections on our website HERE so members can quickly find what they need without searching through the entire document. While most policies remain unchanged, a few updates have been made. - Any major changes have been highlighted for your convenience:
- Technical Committee structure expanded to formally include both the RTC and Acro Technical Committees.
- Club Development Grant section has been expanded to provide more detailed information and expectations.
- Team travel funding policies for Team Sask / Sask First athletes, coaches, and judges have been clarified.
- Hosting honorariums for coaching courses and select Gym Sask events have been updated to $40/hour.
- Sanctioned activity guidelines during summer camps have been clarified.
- Membership benefits overview has been added for clubs to easily share with their members (page 50).
- All coaches must now complete Respect in Sport and Safe Sport Training every five (5) years.
