Gymnastics Saskatchewan

Hello everyone,

We are so excited to welcome you to Darke Hall (2255 College Ave) this Saturday for the 2026 Awards Gala!

Before we celebrate our incredible athletes, coaches, clubs, and volunteers, we have a few important updates to help you prepare for the evening. Please read through the information below and let us know if you have any questions.

SCHEDULE & COCKTAIL HOUR

  • 5:00 PM – Cocktail Hour
    • Join us for appetizers provided by Madira Catering and a cash bar operated by Darke Hall.
    • Appetizers will include options to accommodate most dietary restrictions. If you require assistance identifying suitable options, please speak with a catering staff member.
  • 5:45 PM – Auditorium Opens
    • The auditorium will open for seating ahead of the show.
  • 6:00 PM – Awards Gala Begins
    • Get ready to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Saskatchewan gymnastics community!

PARKING

Since the gala takes place on a Saturday, free parking is available around Darke Hall, including:

  • Directly in front of the building on Ramsay Drive.
  • Along Wascana Drive and College Avenue.
  • In the parking lots behind the building.

Please allow yourself enough time to park and join us for cocktail hour before the show begins.

TICKETING

  • If you received a complimentary ticket, your name will be at the door for entry. Find a GymSask staff member if you are having issues.
  • Last minute tickets are still available HERE.

SEATING INFORMATION

  • Reserved seating will be available in the front rows for Athlete of the Year nominees and major award recipients. Please utilize this seating to ensure you are close to the stage access if required.
  • All other attendees are welcome to sit in the non-reserved seating areas in either the lower seating section or the balcony. Medallists from Westerns, Canadians, and International competitions should sit in the lower seating section to ensure direct access to the stage.
  • We recommend choosing seats as close to the middle as possible, as the presentation screen is located at the back of the stage. While the screen should still be visible from the sides, a more central seat will provide the best viewing experience.
  • If you require accessible seating or any other seating assistance, please speak with a Darke Hall staff member or usher upon arrival.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Piper Sports Photography will be on-site throughout the evening, capturing memories from our cocktail hour and photographing each award presentation on stage.

SPECIAL GUEST: GAGE GRASSICK

  • We are excited to welcome Gage Grassick as our special guest speaker for the evening! Gage is a Huskie women’s basketball standout and multi-time Canada West and U SPORTS champion. She has also represented Canada internationally, helping the team capture gold at the Junior Pan American Games. Gage will join us at the Gala as our keynote speaker to share her journey, experiences and lessons learned along the way.
  • Gage will also be available for autographs and photos as guests exit the venue at the end of the gala, so be sure to say hello on your way out.

SHOW LENGTH & PERFORMANCES

  • The awards gala is expected to run for approximately two hours, give or take, and will feature two special guest performances by Collective Studios.
  • Please note that there will be no intermission, so we encourage everyone to use the washrooms and settle in before the show begins.

We can’t wait to celebrate the incredible achievements, dedication, and passion that make Saskatchewan gymnastics so special.
