TO: Member ClubsRE: Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant ProgramDear Member Clubs, Sask Sport is promoting the spring intake for the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant, which supports communities in delivering quality, organized sport programs for Indigenous youth across Saskatchewan. Here are the Spring 2026 Deadlines: - April 30th – North, Lakeland, Rivers West Districts
- May 31st – Prairie Central, Parkland Valley, South East, South West, Saskatoon, Regina Districts
Funding Available - Grants typically range from $1,000–$5,000 per initiative annually. The maximum amount available is $5,000 per initiative.
What types of Programs are Supported The grant is designed to support organized community sport programs, especially those that: - Increase participation of Indigenous youth in structured sport.
- Support new sport programs or expand existing ones.
- Introduce skills camps, team formation, leagues, or competition pathways.
Who Should Apply - Organizations or communities developing or delivering sport opportunities for Indigenous youth. Applicants in Saskatoon and Regina may apply directly to Sask Sport, while rural/northern/remote communities should contact their District for support and deadlines.
