2024 Canadian Gymnastics Championships Team Announcement

The Canadian Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics Championships Event is set to take place from June 5-9, 2024 in Gatineau, Quebec!

Gymnastics BC Technical Coordinators are thrilled to announce the teams of hard-working athletes, coaches, judges, and staff who will be representing BC at this year’s Canadian Championships. Congratulations and good luck to you all!

OSIC Online Platform Information Session

OSIC and GymCan will be hosting an information session to learn about abuse-free sport, OSIC, how to make a complaint, educate users on how to use the new platform, and more. This session will take place on Thursday, May 16, at 5 p.m. PST.

2024 Gymnastics BC Awards and Scholarships

The GymBC Awards and Scholarships Committee has released the nomination forms for the 2024 GymBC and GFA Awards, and GymBC Scholarships!

Deadline for scholarship applications: May 31, 2024

The 2024 Awards and Scholarships Celebration Event will be taking place in the fall again this year. Information about the event will be released soon.

2025 Canada Summer Games Volunteers 

The 2025 Canada Summer Games (being held in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador) is 15 months away, and Team BC is beginning the exciting process of recruiting and selecting a team of volunteer Mission Staff that will work to support athletes, coaches, and support staff that will be participating in the Games.

This is a great opportunity for coaches to get some experience at a multi-sport games. If you are interested, click here for more information.

2024 BC Gymnaestrada Recap

The 2024 BC Gymnaestrada event was held at the Richmond Olympic Oval May 4-5, 2024.

Co-hosted by Delta Gymnastics Society, and Gymnastics BC, participants engaged in interactive workshops on Saturday, followed by performances on Sunday!

GymCan Winning Well Speaker Series

GymCan is hosting the next Winning Well Speaker Series on May 14, 2024 at 5 p.m. PST. The targeted audience is for athletes. 

Topic: Beyond the Grey Zone: Enhancing the coach/athlete experience

Target Audience: Coaches, Parents, Athletes, Clubs, Admin

2024 GFA Summit

The GFA Summit, known as GFA Retreat in 2022, is an opportunity for GFA leaders across the province to come together with the GFA Committee and collaborate in formulating a strategic plan for the years 2024-26, alongside in-depth discussions surrounding GFA programming in British Columbia.

Dates: June 7-8 (Arrival June 6, Departure June 9)
Location: Sunshine Coast Gymnastics

There is no registration fee to attend, however, attendees will be responsible for their own accommodations and travel. Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, June 8.
