RE: Membership Numbers Required
Good day, we hope all is well.
Over the past few months, we have had issues with our membership registration platform maintaining correct registration numbers. This was discovered when cross-referencing competitive athlete registrations with event registration and, in our recent Q2 financial report, which shows a deficit of $100,000 when registrations are compared to ’23-’24 Q2.
What is worrisome is if an incident occurs, and an athlete or other member is not recorded in our system, the club may be liable and not covered under the insurance policy. Although we are not aware of a registration issue with Recreational athletes, as we have only discovered this with Competitive athletes, there must also be issues with recreational registrations due to the reduction in registration revenues.
According to our recent data analysis, membership is down somewhere between 600 and 900 registrations. Resultantly, we respectfully request submission of the total number of registered members at your club for this season (as of April 1) to Adeena Cox (acox@gymsask.com) by Friday, April 11, 2025. This is so we can cross reference with our records and locate the issue.
