Hosted by the Alberta Gymnastics Foundation and Gymnastics Canada at the Calgary Olympic Oval, this event will showcase top talent in TG, MAG, WAG, and ACRO!

Staff Update - Trampoline Program Manager

Sandra Poelzer, our Trampoline Gymnastics Program Manager, will be leaving Gymnastics BC, with her last day being June 20, 2025. 

💙Sandra has been a dedicated member of our team, working tirelessly to support TG athletes, coaches, judges, and clubs. We thank her for the lasting impact she’s made over the past year and a half. Please join us in wishing her the best in her next chapter.

Heads-Up: US Tariffs on Gymnastics Equipment

Please be aware that gymnastics equipment ordered from US suppliers may now be subject to a 35% import tariff. One BC club recently faced an unexpected $17,000 charge when ordering custom foam equipment due to these tariffs.

⚠️ A few important notes:

• These tariffs may not be covered by insurance, even if the equipment was ordered as part of a claim.
• As of May 20, new Canadian regulations require a Government of Canada Security Clearance to import goods. One-time brokering is no longer allowed.

This change could have major cost implications for any club ordering equipment from the US. Please plan accordingly and share with others who may be affected.

Assisting & Guiding Tour – Zones 1 & 2

GymBC is excited to offer an Assisting and Guiding Clinic for Zones 1 and 2, taking place at various Zone 1 and 2 Clubs from June 25 - July 6, 2025! 

Geared towards GF trained coaches, this clinic bridges the gap between GF and Comp 1, focusing on progressions, drills, and safe physical assistance techniques.

2025 GymBC GFA Summit 

GymBC is pleased to invite you to the upcoming Gymnastics For All Summit, taking place on June 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics.

✨This free event provides a valuable opportunity for GFA leaders and coaches from across the province to connect with the GFA Committee, reflect on our progress, and collaborate on the path forward for GFA in BC. Together, we’ll review the successes and challenges of our current initiatives, assess what needs further attention, and explore new opportunities as part of the 2024–2026 Strategic Plan.
