Celebrating a big Fourth QuarterQ4 was packed with big moments for Saskatchewan gymnastics! We proudly hosted Canadian Gymnaestrada, welcomed David Kenwright as a guest coach, celebrated Jordan Carroll’s international success, and supported our Sask First athletes through strength and conditioning sessions. Behind the scenes, we also spent the quarter debriefing, planning, and preparing for the season ahead. And now, we’re looking forward to celebrating our incredible gymnastics community at the GymSask Awards Gala on October 17! Don’t forget to tag us in all your upcoming photos so we can see and share: Instagram @gymsask Facebook @Gym Sask

Gymnastics Saskatchewan is incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Saskatchewan athlete Jordan Carroll at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Jordan played a pivotal role in Canada’s historic men’s artistic gymnastics team, helping secure the country’s first Commonwealth Games men’s team gold medal in 20 years. His strong performances throughout the competition contributed to an unforgettable moment for Canadian gymnastics and showcased the talent and dedication he has developed over years of hard work. As if one gold medal wasn’t enough, Jordan returned to competition in the men’s pommel horse final and delivered another exceptional performance to claim the individual Commonwealth title. His gold-medal routine demonstrated remarkable precision, confidence, and composure under pressure, earning him a well-deserved place atop the podium.

Strength & conditioning was a huge part of summer training for our National-level athletes across TG, MAG, WAG and Acro. Athletes in Saskatoon and Regina trained together to build strength, power, speed, stability and overall athletic performance as they prepared to perform at their best. A huge thank you to Craven and Level 10 for supporting our athletes’ development — and to Level 10 for almost 10 years of partnership! We are grateful for the expertise and commitment you bring to our athletes.

A Busy Quarter of Planning & ProgressQuarter 4 was a busy and productive one at GymSask. Our team connected with Gymnastics Canada, gymnastics experts, contract staff, and our Board of Directors through a series of meetings and conversations focused on reflecting on the previous season and looking ahead. These discussions gave us an opportunity to celebrate successes, identify opportunities for growth, and build a strong plan for the season ahead. With lots of collaboration and big-picture thinking underway, we are excited to turn these conversations into action as we continue to move GymSask forward.
