Greater Vernon to host the BC Winter Games in March 2023

The BC Games Society and the Greater Vernon 2022 BC Winter Games Society are pleased to announce new dates for the 2022 BC Winter Games, which was originally scheduled for last month. 

The event will be held March 23 to 26, 2023. Further details to follow.

GymBC Coach Selected for Canada Games Apprenticeship Program

GymBC is pleased to announce that Lilla Gulyas (Flip City Gymnastics Club) has been named to the Women in Coaching Canada Games Apprenticeship Program for 2023.

The purpose of the Canada Games Apprenticeship Program is to provide women coaches with a practical and integrated major national multi-sport games experience. Selected coaches have direct involvement in preparation and competition and receive support from an identified mentor coach throughout the duration of the program.

Registration is open for the C1 WAG/MAG Coach Evaluator Training on Tuesday, March 15 (virtual).

Comp 2 Certification Workshop

Gym Sask is hosting a Competition 2 Certification Workshop for coaches who have completed the Comp 2 portfolio review and have their video presentation ready to share with their peers.  

This workshop will be taking place over Zoom with Alynn Bomok on March 20, 2022.  

Please share this with any coaches who are ready to complete the last step in their Comp 2 certification process.
