2022 BC Championships Travel Subsidy Applications Applications are now open for 2022 BC Championships Travel Subsidies. Please forward this information to athletes and families who attended any of the following events*: - 2022 Trampoline Gymnastics BC Championships: North Surrey, March 25-27; - 2022 Artistic Gymnastics BC Championships: North Surrey, April 1-3; and/or - 2022 WAG CCP Gymnastics BC Championships: Port Coquitlam, May 6-8 *eligibility requirements include a minimum travel distance of 201km roundtrip (by car and/or by ferry) from their home city to the competition city. viaSport - Safe Sport: Team Building & Conflict Management Looking to lead culture change in your community or organization? viaSport hosted a safe sport workshop on conflict management that outlined strategies to equip people at all levels of sport to identify potential conflicts and address them before they escalate. These learnings can be applied across all sport environments and beyond. A recording of the workshop is available as well as a copy of the presentation slide deck.

viaSport Indigenous Youth Sport Legacy Fund The 2022-23 intake for the Indigenous Youth Sport Legacy Fund is now open and accepting applications. This grant supports athletes of Indigenous ancestry and aims to relieve the various costs associated with the pursuit of high performance sport. The grant is open to B.C. athletes of all abilities and across all sports with a focus on athletes competing at the provincial or national level. Eligible athletes are invited to read the grant guidelines and apply! 2022 Compulsory Championships Congratulations to all of the talented gymnasts that competed at this weekend's Compulsory Championships! It was wonderful to see so many happy, smiling faces over the weekend. GymBC would also like to extend a huge congratulations and appreciation to TAG Sports Centre and its team of volunteers for putting on a successful event.
