Sport Package Announced for the 2026 BC Winter Games The BC Games Society has officially announced the sport package for the 2026 BC Winter Games in Trail/Rossland, outlining the sports that will be featured at the event. This marks an exciting milestone for athletes across the province as they prepare to compete at one of BCβs premier multi-sport events. "The BC Winter Games are a vital step in the development pathway for Gymnastics BC athletes, coaches, and officials," says Thorstein Fischer, GymBC MAG Program Manager and BC Games Provincial Advisor. "For many, itβs their first experience traveling and competing as part of a regional zone team, an opportunity that is rare in our sport." Read more about the full sport package here.

WAG NEWS UPDATE There has been a large amount of requests for L1-2 AA scores to be released for qualifications to BC Champs. Per the BC Charts, a Silver AA is 32. Therefore, if your athlete(s) received a Silver or Gold AA, they are qualified. GymBC doesn't need the exact score for registration purposes.

Canucks Autism Network Train it and Try it! GymBC has partnered with Canucks Autism Network to provide a Train It and Try It Workshop. Participants who join are eligible for PD points! What to Expect: a 5.5-hour interactive session designed to equip coaches with the skills and resources needed to support neurodivergent athletes. - Train It Session: Learn how to structure classes, create schedules, and expand your coaching toolkit with practical strategies for working with neurodivergent athletes.
- Try It Session: Put your learning into action! Set up stations and apply your skills while working directly with CAN participants.
