2022 WAG Optional and MAG Gymnastics BC Champs

For the second weekend in a row, Flip City Gymnastics Club and its team of incredible volunteers worked endlessly to deliver a fantastic event. Thanks to this effort, the 2022 WAG Optional and MAG Gymnastics BC Provincial Championships was a resounding success! 

Our sincere gratitude goes out to each and every  staff member, volunteer, supporter, judge, coach, club and athlete for helping to bring this event back to life after a long three-year hiatus.

2022 TG BC Champs Photos 

The event photographer for the TG BC Champs, Graham Dodd (father of Kristina and Gavin Dodd from KGTC), is kindly offering to provide professional copies of photos to families at no charge this year. 

In his words, "... it was so just so good to be back in person. Taking the photos of these incredible athletes was a real privilege, so I’ve decided that there will be no charge for the photos from this event."

Please provide detailed information on exactly which photo(s) you would like, and he will directly send you a download code. Reminder: 2022 Compulsory BC Champs Registration

A friendly reminder to all clubs that the first round of Compulsory BC Champs registration closes April 7^th.  After this date, the registration cost will increase.

2022 Artistic Canadian Championships

Gymnastics Canada is seeking volunteers for the 2022 Artistic Canadian Championships, to be held at the Richmond Oval from May 26-31^st, 2022.

Whistler Coaches Summit

Hosted by Whistler Sport Legacies in partnership with viaSport, the Whistler Coaches Summit is designed specifically to support coaches in the completion of several key NCCP Multi-Sport Modules needed for full certification in their sport, in an environment that is truly multi-sport and interactive. 

This year's event will take place from April 29 - May 8, 2022, and will offer a variety of NCCP Multi-Sport Modules, plus a Coach Appreciation Event that you don't want to miss!

WAG: GymCan CCP and Aspire Manual Updates

The GymCan CCP Manual was updated on Thursday March 31^st, and again on Monday April 4^th. Please note that updates are pertaining to UB equipment.  

GymCan has also recently added a small clarification to the Aspire Manual regarding maximum steps on the floor exercise.

WAG: Sr and Jr HP List

GymCan has circulated the WAG SR and JR HP list following Virtual Elite Canada Results. An updated National Team list is also available. 

2022-23 Women's Technical Committee (WTC)

On behalf of GymBC and the entire WAG community, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the 2021-22 WTC members. The past year's committee stepped up during a challenging time, and laid a strong foundation that will serve as a guide as we continue a transition to regular operations.
