Hello Okotoks Registrants, The Okotoks Camp starts Monday, July 7th! Our team of Instructors can't wait to get started! Your child is in Group 1. Thank you to everyone who worked to promote this camp. We saw the numbers increase and allow us to run two great groups. The two groups will be Group 1 (2014-2017 birthdates) and Group 2 (2011-2013 birthdates). These groupings differ a bit compared to what we had originally planned, but they allow us to honour the many friend requests we received, as well as match the ages more closely. In many situations you will see our groups break off into stations (both on and off the ice), as this allows us to challenge everyone appropriately. If you feel your child is placed in the wrong group, please either email us or follow up with the Site Manager on Monday morning. You are also welcome to do so at the end of the day on Monday, as it's often helpful to see the groups skate and get a feel for their composition. Our staff will also be watching the make up of the groups and will alert you if they see a need to make a switch. Here are a few things you need to know to make this camp memorable! |
