RE: 2026-27 Insurance Update

GymSask is pleased to announce significant changes to our insurance coverage for the April 1, 2026 – April 1, 2027 policy period.

After many months of working with our insurance broker, Gymnastics Saskatchewan has transitioned back into the Sask Sport program and is now covered under Markel. This change allows for consistent coverage across all disciplines, including trampoline.

With this transition, we are pleased to confirm that participant accident coverage has been reinstated within our policy for all members.

  • What does this mean?
    • Member clubs, through Gymnastics Saskatchewan, are now covered for both general liability and participant accident claims.
    • For clubs requiring an updated Certificate of Insurance, a general certificate can be accessed here.
    • For clubs requiring a customized Certificate of Insurance, including naming a member club and/or landlord, a request form must be completed here. 

A June webinar is preliminarily planned with our broker to outline these changes in more detail and ensure member clubs have a clear understanding of the updated coverage.
