Team Saskatchewan Gymnaestrada Selected to Represent Canada at the 2027 World Gymnaestrada PAGU Gala
Gymnastics Saskatchewan is proud to announce that Team Saskatchewan Gymnaestrada has been selected to represent Canada in the Pan American Gymnastics Union (PAGU) Gala at the 2027 World Gymnaestrada in Lisbon, Portugal.
The selection follows the team’s outstanding performance at the 2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada in Regina, where they showcased the creativity, inclusivity, and spirit of Gymnastics for All that defines the program.
The PAGU Gala is a featured continental evening performance during the World Gymnaestrada, bringing together exceptional Gymnastics for All groups from across the Americas. Representing Canada on this international stage is a significant honour and recognizes Team Saskatchewan’s dedication, artistry, and excellence.
The World Gymnaestrada is the world’s largest Gymnastics for All event, held every four years and celebrating participation, creativity, and cultural exchange through non-competitive group performances. Since 2007, the Pan American Gymnastics Union has presented its own continental gala, highlighting the diversity and talent of participating countries from across the Americas.
Team Saskatchewan now begins preparations for Lisbon 2027, where they will proudly represent both Saskatchewan and Canada on one of the world’s premier Gymnastics for All stages.
