New Resource: CCES BodySense Program Relaunch  

The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) has revamped and relaunched its BodySense program, which addresses important topics such as athletes' body image, relationships with food, and disordered eating. This valuable resource is now available through an online learning platform, offering accessible education for coaches, athletes, and support teams.

Board of Directors Recruitment for Director-at-Large Positions

Gymnastics BC is currently recruiting individuals to volunteer for Director-at-Large positions on the Board of Directors. At the 2024 AGM, two Director-at-Large positions will be elected for a two-year term, and two additional positions will be appointed by the Board for a one-year term.

The 2024 Gymnastics BC Awards & Scholarship Celebration Event is happening this weekend! This event, presented by Sport Burnaby is a celebration of our communities achievements and successes in the 2023-24 season.

Gymnaestrada Connection

Gymnastics Canada is pleased to introduce Gymnaestrada Connection—a free, virtual event series that is open to all genders, age groups, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. Join us in celebrating Gymnastics for All (GFA) as we invite clubs to choregraph a group performance that will be featured nationally by Gymnastics Canada.

The deadline to apply is tomorrow, September 27, 2024. Please reach out to gfa@gymbc.org if you wish to take part but need an extension due to the quick turnaround.

Rec Gym Pros – Rec Director 101

Are you a new Rec Director looking for some extra support and to build a community of other fellow Rec directors? Rec Directors 101 might be a good fit for you. TG Specific Strength & Conditioning Camp

A TG Specific Strength & Conditioning Camp is happening at Flip City Gymnastics Club on October 27, 2024. This camp is open to competitive trampoline athletes of all levels from across BC. For athletes outside the Lower Mainland, virtual attendance options will be available, ensuring everyone has a chance to participate.
