2022-23 GymBC Member Club Survey: Reminder Thank you to the club leaders who have completed the 2022-23 GymBC Member Club Survey. This is a reminder that the survey deadline is fast approaching. We kindly invite those who have not yet submitted a survey, to please do so by March 1. Please note that although this survey collects identifying data, information shared with external parties will only be viewed in aggregate. Mental Health and Sport Resource Hub The Coaching Association of Canada is pleased to announce that their Mental Health and Sport Resource Hub, is now live! This hub provides the tools and information to overcome stigma and guide conversations about mental health. This free online portal offers training and resources for coaches to develop mental health literacy and positive coaching practices to improve performance and well-being in sport. Bystander Intervention Training ViaSport are offering a further two free Bystander Intervention training workshops. These sessions are available for everyone: Youth participants, coaches, parents, and anyone who wants to get better at speaking up when things aren't right! FIG World Cup 2023 AGD Trophy Maja Bonham and Gabby Flynn, begin their competition season this weekend at the trampoline FIG World Cup 2023 AGD Trophy in Baku, Azerbaijan. This event will feature senior trampoline and tumbling athletes from around the world. They are joined by coach Curt Dewolff. The event runs from February 17-19 with preliminary competition starting on February 18. Good Luck to you all!

Compulsory Level Up Camp: Call for Interest The tentative plans are to have 4 coaches lead an apparatus each where athletes can work on next level skills and tricky text. This camp would be held in conjunction with the Grizzly Invitational where Compulsory athletes will be competing on May 12. The camp itself would be hosted at Synergy Gymnastics on Saturday, May 13. Please email mkomagata@gymbc.org if you are interested in attending so we can determine if there is enough interest to pursue this plan further.
