Sport BC In Her Footsteps Recognition GymBC is proud to share that Mary Morice has been selected as one of two 2024 Honourees for the In Her Footsteps… Celebrating BC Women in Sport recognition program! With years of dedication to the GymBC community Mary has made a lasting impact on women and girls in gymnastics across British Columbia. She will be honoured at Sport BC’s Athlete of the Year Awards on March 6, 2025, and her story will be featured in the In Her Footsteps exhibit at the BC Sports Hall of Fame in perpetuity.

Competitive Athlete Transfer An athlete may register with a new club after the following conditions have been met: - The new club has notified GymBC by submitting a Competitive Athlete Transfer Request form; and
- The current club approves the transfer within 10 days of receiving the request from GymBC; or
- 10 days have elapsed after notification of the transfer request was submitted and the current club did not provide a response.
After these conditions have been met, GymBC will register the athlete with the new club. Please visit our website for more details.

Canucks Autism Network Train it and Try it! - TWO SPOTS LEFT! GymBC has partnered with Canucks Autism Network to provide a Train It and Try It Workshop. Participants who join are eligible for PD points! What to Expect: a 5.5-hour interactive session designed to equip coaches with the skills and resources needed to support neurodivergent athletes. - Train It Session: Learn how to structure classes, create schedules, and expand your coaching toolkit with practical strategies for working with neurodivergent athletes.
- Try It Session: Put your learning into action! Set up stations and apply your skills while working directly with CAN participants.
