Celebrating Growth, Success, and Community

This quarter saw continued momentum across the Saskatchewan gymnastics community. Nearly 1,000 children were introduced to gymnastics through school outreach programs, and we hosted our first-ever Parkour Coaches Workshop. Athletes achieved strong results across multiple disciplines, including medals at Elite Canada and out-of-province invitationals, while the Saskatchewan Winter Games in Meadow Lake highlighted the strength of women’s artistic gymnastics in the province. Our Gymnastics for All community is also looking ahead, with Team Saskatchewan preparing for the 2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada in Regina, and increased media attention around the Games helped shine a spotlight on gymnastics across the province.

Jamie Benson hosted our first ever Parkour workshop - with a full group of 15 participants!

Ben Davidge continues to build connections throughout the province and has quickly identified a strong demand for accessible gymnastics opportunities. Through school programs and partnerships with Dream Brokers, Taiso, Marian, and Can-Am Gymnastics Club, nearly 1,000 children have already had the opportunity to experience gymnastics.

8 Gymnastics Foundations courses were held for a total of 73 coaches throughout the province.

Team Saskatchewan Gymnaestrada (TSG):

The full 15 minute choreography, costumes, and equipment has all been finalized. The team welcome on-site physio support in December, and a Nutrition session in January. Coordinating a provincial team training during the Winter has had it's challenges - but thanks to technology the team hasn't missed a beat!

Planning for the upcoming Canadian Gymnaestrada is in full swing, as we prepare to welcome 700 participants from around the country.

Stay tuned to hear how you can be a part of this huge event. Event information can be found on the microsite HERE.
