GymBC's 2026–2030 Strategic Plan

Gymnastics BC is developing its next Strategic Plan (2026–2030), and we want to hear from you! Your feedback will help identify priorities, challenges, and opportunities that will guide the future direction of gymnastics in BC.

This survey is open to all members, including club leaders, coaches, judges, and administrators. We encourage you to share it with others in your organization so that multiple perspectives are represented.

BAUHAUS Down Syndrome World Champs

Athletes with Down syndrome are invited to participate in the BAUHAUS Down Syndrome World Championships, taking place June 13–19, 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

This international event welcomes athletes from around the world to compete in a variety of sports, including gymnastics, celebrating inclusion and the joy of sport.

Please note: As this event is not affiliated with FIG, GymBC is not able to provide insurance coverage for attendees. Those interested in learning more are encouraged to contact the event organizers directly at championships.bg@gmail.com.

2027 BC Gymnaestrada

We’re thrilled to announce that Whistler Gymnastics will host the 2027 BC Gymnaestrada, taking place May 21–23, 2027 in Whistler, BC!

We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting event alongside Whistler Gymnastics and our incredible community of performers.

Junior World Championships

We’re proud to announce that Alec Ikeda (TWS) and Aiden Gonzalez (LGF) will represent Canada this November at the Junior World Championships in Manila. Their coaches, Richard Ikeda (TWS) and Kris Krunick (LGF) will also be on the team supporting them. 

This is a huge achievement on the international stage for BC gymnastics. Please join us in celebrating their dedication, representing our province and country!

Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships

Congratulations to Gavin Dodd (KGTC), Gabby Flynn (Shasta), Sienna Kuznak (FC), Kayla Howell (CA), and Taylor Pillinger (VIP), who are representing Canada this week at the 2025 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships in Pamplona, Spain!

We wish you all the very best as you perform on the world stage!

2026 TG Elite Canada

GymCan and Gymnastics Ontario are hosting TG Elite Canada, March 11-15, 2026 in Markham, ON!

2026 Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championships Policies & Procedures Manual

Yukon Gymnastics is hosting the 2026 Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championships from April 23 - 25, 2026 in Whitehorse, YT!

The Policies and Procedures Manual for 2026 has now been finalized and can be found on the GymBC Events Calendar. Stay tuned for event details and updates as they become available.

Fitter for Life Survey

GymBC is reviewing the Fitter for Life Program as our agreement with Gymnastics Australia concludes. Your feedback will help determine how the program is used and if it should continue.

2027 World Gymnaestrada Accommodations

In preparation for the 2027 World Gymnaestrada, GymCan provided the estimated accommodation prices based on the 2025 World for Life Challenge in Lisbon, Portugal.
