Progression : 

1. Roll ball SITTING DOWN with parent *understand the concept of sharing*

2. Stand up and practice kicking with the parent

Story : Our friend Pako the Parrot is sick. We're going to island hop to find ingredients to create medicine to make him feel better. 

Flat cone = Island

Ball = Ship

Story :  We found treasure on a pirate ship and we want to share our gold with our friends.

Set-up : Coaches set up two cones of the same color in front of each other (good distance apart), One coach sends two kids with one of their ball to the other coach who will place them face to face using the cones. The kids will then start passing the ball.

Skill : Dribble & Protect (2)

Set-up : Spread flat cones everywhere on the ground 

Flat cone = Island

Story : We want to destroy the evil pirate ship by scoring cannon balls at the ship . 

Set-up : Kids line their ball on the Sportball line. Coaches place two cones to make a big net away from the kids that they need to score the ball into.

Mini Soccer #2 (15-20 min)

- Split groups in two teams (one with pinnies, one without), one coach per team
- Create a team name 
- Go over rules
>> No jersey pulling
>> No pushing, kicking each other
 

EMPHASIS > Make passes
 

Skill : Dribbling

Set-up : Two lines of cones (make a third if there are a lot of kids). 1st cone is flat and the following cones are medium.

Skill : Passing

Keywords (repeat & clap): Passing / Inside / Protect

Set-up : Place cones facing each other with the same color. Send one player with the ball to one of the cone color and then another without the ball to face the other player.

Progression : Make the cone distance further apart.

Skill : Scoring

Keywords (repeat & clap): Scoring / 3 steps back / Run & kick

Set-up : 
- Waiting line = Medium cone with flat cone on top
- Scoring line = Flat cone
- Soccer net = 2 medium cones

Progression : Coaches are goalies
