Silly Soccer
2-3 years old: Every week, they finish the class by playing Silly Soccer. Every child has a ball and they have to dribble all the way to the end and score a goal, afterwards he dribbles to the other side to score a goal on the other net. They score as many goals as possible and this should be 5 to 10 minutes per class. For the kids that are really comfortable, we can suggest starting week 3, that they can pass with Mom and Dad all the way to the net before they score. Another progression that you can suggest (most kids aren't ready for this) starting on week 6, they go 1 on 1 vs Mom and Dad.
4-6 Years old: For the first two weeks, they finish the class by playing Silly Soccer. Every child has a ball and they have to dribble all the way to the end and score a goal, afterwards he dribbles to the other side to score a goal on the other net. They score as many goals as possible and this should be 5 to 15 minutes per class. Starting on week 3, you remove half of the balls, you explain to the kids that there are 2 teams and that taking the ball away is part of the game. Every week you remove balls until you only have 1 to 3 balls left.
