Create new characters with a professional puppet maker in this 3-part series. Students will design and build their own puppets while learning the basics of puppet construction, character design, and creative craftsmanship. The puppets made in this series will be used in PHAME’s Winter Term Musical Theatre class. At the end of Spring Term, students may take their puppets home as a keepsake of their creative work.

No previous puppet-making experience is required. This series is a great fit for students who enjoy visual art, storytelling, and theatre production. Registration is for the full 3-Part series.

Program Type: Series

Series have two to five classes focusing on a specific project or theme. Each class is 2 hours long, giving students more time to dig into the material each class. These are great for students who can’t participate for a full term, or who want more time to explore a topic.
