Glacier's Volunteer Program

Each season Glacier parents volunteer about 700 hours to help with the successful running of the Club. Many of these hours go towards hosting our major events (Judges Cup & Zone Championships) or our Fundraisers and the Year End Show, but there are literally dozens of ways families can contribute to providing the fantastic environment that is Glacier Gymnastics Club.

Volunteer Credits

Each volunteer position is worth a certain number of hours; on the Sign Up Page these hours are listed as “Credits”.

eg. Fundraising Folders - 2 credits / means it will take approx. two hours to complete

Completed volunteer work is valued at $10 / per hour that is applied to your account against your fees.

Account Credits

Volunteer credits are reconciled two times a season in December & June.

At this time all completed volunteer work is accounted for, and resulting credits are processed to your account. These credits are applied to your account balance, and directly reduce the amount of your next payment.
