This form, along with payment of the non-refundable application fee, serves as the first step of our enrolment process.

Please note:

Applications received by December 17^th, 2025 will be given priority consideration. All applications that come in after this period will be considered in order of application date.
As of January 2026 all Kindergarten applications are now being added to our waitlist. Waitlisted applicants who complete the enrolment process and receive an acceptance letter will be given priority placement for September 2027. All others will have their application fee refunded and will be asked to apply again when the new application is published in November 2026.

Program Options

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program offers a flexible schedule, designed to meet your child's and family's needs. Your child can attend Kindergarten at Trillium for as little as three mornings to as much as five full days and almost anywhere in between. (E.g. three mornings with one afternoon, four mornings with three afternoons, etc.)

Grades 1 through 8

Our Grade School program is full time from 8:40am-3:20pm daily. In Grades 1 & 2 there are optional afternoons to support our students' smooth transition to Grade School. (Monday and Wednesday afternoons are optional in Grade 1, Wednesday afternoon is optional for Grade 2. (Care is provided for the students that remain at school during these times).

After School Care

After school care is also available daily from 3:30-5:30pm for students in Grades 1-8. Grade school students can be registered to attend after school care regularly or it can be used on an as needed basis.

Kindergarten Eligibility & Grade School Student Placement

Our grade placement policy is different from that of most other schools and is designed to support the Waldorf curriculum which strives to meet children at their developmental age level. Please note the guidelines below:

Kindergarten: Children are eligible to enter our Kindergarten program in September if they will tum four years old by December 31^stin the same calendar year.

Grade School: Trillium Waldorf School places children based on their age as of June 30^th prior to the school year beginning in September. This means that if your child is born in the second half of the year (July 1^st-Dec. 31^st) they will enter Grade 1 a year later than in most schools.

The following chart indicates the age students must reach by June 30^th, in order to be eligible for the indicated grade in September. Additional consideration will be given to children with birthdays very near this date.

To begin your enrolment process, please book your enrolment meeting for using this scheduler. Please note that enrolment meetings dates begin in January each year. (Also note this step is not necessary in the case of applying for a sibling of a currently enrolled student.)

The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with a formal opportunity to learn more about our school, ask questions and the like. Please note that this meeting is intended for just the adults and that later in the application process there will be an opportunity for your child to come to the school, meet with our teachers and see the classroom.
