Our sessions offer children aged 5 to 15 a unique, fun, and engaging way to learn English through a series of 16 class sessions. 

By combining age-appropriate activities with targeted language skills, we help your child build confidence and proficiency in English, preparing them to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Learning objectives:

  • Use “supposed to” and “meant to” to talk about expectations, plans, or obligations 
  • Use modals of deduction (must, might, can’t) to make logical assumptions about past or present situations 
  • Use conditionals (zero, first, and second) to discuss real and hypothetical situations related to landscapes 
  • Use “along,” “across,” “through,” and “around” to describe the route or path to follow.
  • Use adverbs for measurements, focusing on the accuracy, extent, or manner in which something is measured (e.g., precisely, roughly, accurately, significantly).
  • Use “as… as” for comparisons of equality 
  • Use ordinals for the position of planets in the solar system, or steps of a space mission

 


DAREDEVILS Themes & Tools: Flipped Classroom (Student/Teacher collaborative content), Podcasts, Short Stories, Articles, Videos, Debate & Conversation, Idioms & Slang, Writing Prompts

Learning objectives:

  • Ask and answer questions using compound and complex sentences
  • Read and retell stories or articles with detail and expression
  • Develop confidence using modal verbs (e.g., should, might, must, could)
  • Understand and use common idioms and slang for more natural, conversational English
  • Strengthen debate skills and practice clear, thoughtful self-expression
  • Improve short-form writing skills through creative and reflective prompts
  • Build teamwork and collaboration skills through group tasks and discussions

 

Students will explore English through a flipped classroom model—this means that learning materials are selected collaboratively with the teacher and classmates! 

Students will reflect on the media they explore, share their opinions, debate topics, and develop both spoken and written expression. With a focus on self-expression, critical thinking, and real-world language use.
