Who may enroll:

All children between the ages of 6 and 12 who speak French or are enrolled in a francophone primary school or French immersion program (with at least one year of immersion) are eligible.

They must be able to understand French and express themselves in simple sentences in French.

We accept children whose level of fluency in French is:

· francophone

· perfectly bilingual

· adequate (able to understand simple instructions, talk about their day, or answer questions in full sentences)

Le Centre reminds parents that they are responsible for determining their child’s level in French. Once Camp Virgule has started, Le Centre and the Camp Virgule team will not be held responsible if the child’s level in French is deemed insufficient for continued participation in the Camp.

How do you allow your child to leave the camp? *

As every year, there will be a day-care service before and after the camp day (8am to 9am | 4pm to 5pm).

Registration for this service will open at the end of May. We will send a form to all registered families at that time.

During camp activities, do you allow the instructors to take group photos with your child (shared only with parents)? *

By registering your child, you authorize him or her to participate in the excursions that will take place as part of Camp Virgule.

Terms and conditions:

1.    Full payment must be made no later than the Thursday prior to the start of the selected week(s).
2.    Le Centre reserves the right to discontinue or rearrange dates and activities of the camp.
3.    In case of cancellation, Le Centre will withhold a 15% administration fee from the registration cost.
4.    Cancellation must be made no later than one week (Monday) before the start of the week in question.
5.    Any cancellation within a shorter term must be justified by a medical certificate. Otherwise, no refund or transfer will be made. The Centre will retain an administrative fee of 15% of the total registration fee.
6.    Request for week transfer must be made at least 7 days prior to the initial week start date and will only be granted based on availability.
7.    No pro rata rate applies for children who miss one or more days within the week in which he is registered.
8.    Due to the rules governing the Societies, the annual membership fee is non-refundable.
9.    The Center reserves the right to discontinue a child's participation in Camp activities in cases where the child's misunderstanding of French or refusal to speak French (for whatever reason) would compromise the safety and proper conduct of the Camp. In this case, no refund will be given.
10.    The Center reserves the right to discontinue a child's participation in camp activities if the child's attitude or behavior endangers the safety and proper conduct of the camp. In this case, no refund will be given.
11.    The Centre accepts registrations for daycare ($10.00/hr) until the Friday before the week in question. After this date, the unscheduled daycare rate will be applied and must be paid when the child is picked up.
12.    Childcare fees ($15.00) will be charged to parents arriving at the camp before 8:50 am in the morning and after 4:10 pm.
13.    If parents are more than 05 minutes late after the closing of the daycare service (5:00 p.m.), the Centre reserves the right to charge them an additional $5.00 for the custody of the child.
14.    If parents are more than 15 minutes late after the close of daycare (5:00 p.m.), the Center reserves the right to charge parents $35.00 for the first hour and $60.00 for the second hour.
15.    If no contact is made with the parents within one hour of the end of the daycare, the Center reserves the right to call the public authorities.
16.    For the smooth running of the Camp and for organizational reasons, if parents are late more than twice after the daycare hours, the Center reserves the right to interrupt the child's participation in the Camp activities.
