If your club submits more than one event request for the season, only your priority event will be considered in Rounds 1 and 2. All additional events will be reviewed in Round 3 only. This ensures that every club has a fair opportunity to secure a preferred weekend for at least one event before any club is approved to host multiple events.

Clubs may still submit more than one request during Rounds 1 and 2 if they have all event details finalized. Doing so may help avoid higher or late sanctioning fees. Clubs must clearly indicate which event is their priority event, below.

In making this request, the host club agrees to abide by all rules and regulations of Gymnastics BC (GymBC), Gymnastics Canada (GymCan), and the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), as applicable.

The host club further agrees that:

All participants attending from outside British Columbia must complete the Out of Province GymBC Assumption of Risk Form prior to participation.
Participants from other Canadian provinces/territories who are registered with their respective PTO are recognized under the reciprocal agreement between Canadian federations and are covered through their own PTO insurance.
International participants (outside Canada) are not eligible for GymBC or PTO membership and are therefore not covered by GymBC's accident/medical insurance. They must provide proof to the event host of valid travel, medical, and accident insurance before being permitted to participate.
They are responsible for collecting and maintaining proof of insurance and permission to participate for all out-of-province and international participants. GymBC reserves the right to audit host clubs and may, at any time, request evidence that the required documentation has been obtained.

I understand that dates requested are not guaranteed and will only be confirmed once this sanction application has been reviewed and approved by GymBC following the closing date of the relevant bidding round.

I understand that once my event is sanctioned, it is approved solely based on the information submitted at the time of application. Any changes, including adjustments to event dates, categories/levels offered, disciplines included, or other key event details must be submitted in writing to events@gymbc.org for approval prior to implementation.

Events that proceed with unapproved changes are subject to a $500 fine.
