We are excited to share details for the 2026 High School Beach Open, taking place May 27–30, 2026.

This is a fun beach volleyball tournament featuring Junior Varsity and Varsity:

• Girls 2’s and 3’s
• Boys 2’s and 3’s

Event Schedule & Locations:

Junior Varsity – May 27 & 28
Locations: Maple Grove Rugby Park and Sargent Park

Varsity – May 29 & 30
Locations: Maple Grove Rugby Park and Sargent Park

Registration Process:

Please note that registration for the High School Beach Open will be conducted by lottery.

To be considered for participation, you must complete the lottery registration form using the provided links below. Failure to submit a lottery registration will result in ineligibility for the event.

Key details:

• Each team must be entered separately in the appropriate lottery registration form.
• There are eight distinct lottery registration forms—please review carefully to ensure teams are entered correctly.
• The deadline to submit all lottery registrations is April 27.

Schools selected through the lottery will be notified by May 1 and will receive further registration instructions at that time.

No special exceptions will be made.

Schools may submit multiple entries per division; however, no more than two teams per school will be selected through the lottery.

Submitting multiple entries does not increase the likelihood of selection beyond the two-team maximum.

Volleyball Manitoba recognizes that there is overlap between the High School Beach Open and the Volleyball Canada National Championships for some athletes. This was not a decision made lightly. A number of alternative scheduling options were explored; however, due to the broader provincial and national competition calendar, along with logistical constraints, no viable alternatives were identified that would avoid all conflicts. As a result, the event dates will remain as scheduled. We understand that this may require some athletes to make difficult decisions, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to provide meaningful opportunities within a very condensed and complex competition calendar.
