The response to our initial ask for Casino volunteers has been amazing. Thank you so much!!! π€©π We have one shift left to fill: General Manager for the late shift on July 20 from 6:30pm to 3:30am at the ACE Casino Airport in Calgary. The General Manager supervises all of the other volunteers and witnesses all βcash outsβ. No experience is necessary, and training is provided. Plus, you get a free meal and snacks! π₯©π Craig, our finance manager, recommends the Steak Sandwich and the Ginger Beef! Finally, if you are from out of town, we will be happy to reimburse your mileage and an overnight stay in one of the nearby hotels. Most importantly, filling this important shift grants your club a share of the proceeds from the casino. π°π If you are interested, CLICK HERE to visit our volunteer page and sign up. See you soon!

Happy Canada Day everyone! πππ This has been an incredible season. We got to see some amazing routines at Provincial Championship, Gymfest, and all of the other Cups and Meets; our teams got a chance to travel in every direction across the country; and new friends came from overseas to attend our Fall Congress. Even Roland got a funky new shirt. π΅ππ The calendar now shifts over to the 2026-2027 season and the new stories that will come. AGF is especially looking forward to unveiling our newly designed team outfits as we continue through the next Olympic cycle! One final task for all clubs is to ensure all coach and athlete registrations are completed and uploaded. The deadline to do so is July 10th. This means all coaches and athletes who participated in 2025-2026 programming, including those who attended camps, school field trips, drop-in classes, and birthday parties. It's important to remember that anyone that was not properly registered was un-insured, which means that the club is at risk for liability if there was an injury, and the participant isn't be able to claim medical expenses. So make sure to get your final registrations in as soon as you can! Also, going forward, next season the clubs will get to see our revamped membership+insurance registration, which will make the submission process more efficient. I cannot wait. Have a great summer, and we'll see you next month! πποΈ

June 2026 - Pineapple on pizza? ππ
Robin - I'm in the "no thanks" camp. If it's buried under enough toppings on a loaded pizza, I'll happily coexist with it, but given the choice, it's not making it onto my order anytime soon. π Kate - Although I do love a bit of gourmet pizza, I am drawing the line at pineapple on my pizza! β Haleigh - Pineapple on pizza is the best! I love it with bacon, ham, and good garlic sauce to dip in! π€€ Will - If it's a loaded pizza, I'd eat it. Unfortunately, a plain Hawaiian pizza just isn't for me. π€·ββοΈ Craig - ππ Delicious. The bigger question is, how is this so controversial, yet everyone just seems to accept that tiny, salty fish are a normal pizza topping?!?!?! π Jackie - Yes, I do like pineapple on Pizza. The sweet with salty is so good. π Jacinda - I love pineapple on pizza, especially with a apple BBQ pulled pork! π Carolyn - Yes to pineapple, especially if paired with some jalapenos! π Ray - Yes! Pineapple totally belongs on pizza! π
