We are looking for volunteers that want to escape the sweltering heat of summer, while also earning money for their gymnastics club.

AGF volunteers will be taking over the ACE Casino Airport in Calgary, on July 20-21, and each shift nets their member club a share in the proceeds.

We will be working to raise funds for our sport, our athletes, and our programs. This is an awesome opportunity to help out and get to know others in the gymnastics community.

Are you intrigued? Training and snacks are provided, and no casino experience is necessary!

As our athletes put in the long hours and hard work in preparation for next week's Provincial Championships, the AGF Finance office already has its eyes towards next season!

Budget preparations are currently underway as we envision how the 2026-2027 gymnastics season will look. Despite how it sounds, it is a lot of fun to plan the upcoming calendar and delve into the different possible events, scenarios, and goals for our programs.

What makes this planning extra challenging is the ever-changing world economy and how it can affect our sport. Similarly, we also judge the effects our members can offer. We may be just one province, but we are 50,000+ members strong!

Our teams are travelling thousands of kilometres and investing countless hours; of course, our budget will recognize that and offer as much support as possible.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the release of the 2026-2027 AGF Membership Fees!

Until next time, have a great month, and I hope to see you at the BMO Centre next week for Provincials.

PS. I hope you haven't put your summer tyres on yet. Yikes!😬☃️🤭

If the fire alarm was going off at the office, what's the first non-essential thing you grab to take with you? 🔥😱📚🏆

Robin - Laptop? Grabbed. Backpack? Check. Roland safe and sound? Absolutely. And then… my 2025 Canadians lanyard—because our team crushed it, memories were made, and some victories are just too good to leave behind. 🙌

Kate - 🔥If I brought my dog into the office we’d definitely grab her first🐾 and then my laptop 💻!

Haleigh - My laptop, backpack, and any snacks I may have! 🤣 💻

Will - My irish hat 🎩

Craig - There’s no way I’m leaving my Hot Wheels collection behind! 🏎️ 😎 🛻

Jackie - I would make sure to grab the art I painted and my work pile 🖼️

Carolyn - I would definitely have to make sure Roland is safe! AGF just wouldn't be the same without him 🙉

Jacinda - My purse and phone 📱👜
