BC Winter Games Torch Lighting Ceremony

The 2026 BC Winter Games Torch Lighting Ceremony took place last week, marking the official countdown to the Games.

We’re proud to share that Indica Richardson from Trail Gymnastics Club was selected as one of the young torchbearers for the event. Indica represented gymnastics with enthusiasm and spoke about her goals of qualifying for the Games and eventually pursuing a coaching pathway. 

We are proud of BC’s young athletes, coaches, and clubs for the energy and passion they bring to events across the province!

2026–27 GymBC Sanctioned Events

Information is available for the 2026–27 GymBC Sanctioned Events bidding rounds. Bidding Round 1 opens December 1, 2025.

All competitive and recreational events (excluding joint training and camps) must be sanctioned by GymBC. Please take a moment to review the updated information on our website.

2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada

GymCan has extended the the intent to participate deadline for the 2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada to January 26, 2026.

Junior World Championships

Congratulations to Alec Ikeda (TWS) and Aiden Gonzalez (LGF), along with their coaches Richard Ikeda (TWS) and Kris Krunick (LGF), who represented Canada at the Junior World Championships in Manila last weekend!
