Truth and Reconciliation 

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation takes place on September 30 each year. Indigenous Sport Physical Activity and Recreation Council (ISPARC) has launched their Indigenous Cultural Safety Training, and there's now a waitlist open for the next round in February 2025. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to engage in meaningful learning around reconciliation. If you’re seeking a valuable way to deepen your understanding of Indigenous cultural safety, this could be an excellent addition to your journey.

2024 Coaches Week + Pro-D Day

Did you know GymBC hosts a Coach Pro-D Day during National Coaches Week?!

National Coaches Week 2024 is September 16-22, and the GymBC Coach Pro-D Day on September 20! 

Check the education calendar to sign up, and for more of the latest courses and webinars being offered for free or at a reduced cost! We encourage clubs to support their coaches in attending by cancelling or rescheduling classes in order to facilitate coaches’ attendance. We also hope clubs are able to support their coaches’ education by recognizing time spent in education sessions as paid time.

Call For Donations - Gymnastics BC Awards and Scholarship Celebration Silent Auction

Every year at the Awards and Scholarships Celebration, GymBC awards scholarships, each worth up to $1000, to our incredibly talented student-athletes. To make this happen, we’re hosting a Silent Auction featuring an array of incredible items donated by businesses and organizations across our province. Every dollar raised goes directly into these scholarships!
