GymBC is offering free or reduced-cost courses and webinars throughout National Coaches Week. Be sure to check the education calendar and sign up for the final three webinars, happening tomorrow during GymBC's Coach Pro-D Day!

Truth and Reconciliation 

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation takes place on September 30 each year. Indigenous Sport Physical Activity and Recreation Council (ISPARC) has launched their Indigenous Cultural Safety Training, and there's now a waitlist open for the next round in February 2025. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to engage in meaningful learning around reconciliation. If you’re seeking a valuable way to deepen your understanding of Indigenous cultural safety, this could be an excellent addition to your journey.

Bystander Intervention Training – viaSport

GymBC encourages all members to participate in viaSport's Bystander Intervention Training. This practical and impactful webinar provides essential tools for recognizing and responding to maltreatment in sport. If you are regularly on-site during events or activities, this training is highly recommended to help create a safer environment for all.

2024 Gymnastics BC Awards & Scholarships Celebration

The 2024 Gymnastics BC Awards & Scholarship Celebration Event is happening next weekend! This event, presented by Sport Burnaby is a celebration of our communities achievements and successes in the 2023-24 season. Tickets are available on the event page.

WAG Level 5 & Beyond Training Camp

WAG is holding a L5 & Beyond Training Camp at Nanaimo Gymnastics School on October 20, 2024. The camp will run  from 12:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and will include five rotations (Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Floor, Tramp/Fast Track). 

Registration closes October 11, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., so be sure to sign up before the deadline to secure your spot. Don’t miss this great opportunity to focus on key skills and fundamentals!

TG Specific Strength & Conditioning Camp

A TG Specific Strength & Conditioning Camp is happening at Flip City Gymnastics Club on October 27, 2024. This camp is open to competitive trampoline athletes of all levels from across BC. For athletes outside the Lower Mainland, virtual attendance options will be available, ensuring everyone has a chance to participate.
