Club Public Access Reports are also required. The form can be completed here. Public Access Reports can be submitted monthly/quarterly. Maternity Leave Reminder: Keara As Keara, Our Communications and Recreation Program Manager prepares for Mat leave, we wanted to remind clubs that Keara's last day will be October 28. We advise that communication and enquiries intended for Keara be sent before this date. New Grant: Rally Together Fund A $4M Rally Together Fund has been developed to provide one-time recovery funding for amateur sport organizations who have seen a decrease in membership or volunteerism through COVID-19. This fund will help to ensure that B.C.’s amateur sport system continues to provide opportunities for sport development and recovery as well as the significant community and economic benefits. Funding is available for non-profit provincial sport organizations, disability sport organizations, multi-sport organizations and local sport organizations. Specifically, the grant is intended to support the development of programs focused on rebuilding sport participation ($2M) and the recruitment and retention of volunteers ($2M).
The grant is open from September 23 to November 4, 2022, to fund programs running between December 1, 2022 and January 15, 2024.

GymBC 2024 and 2025 Events: Final Reminder Final Reminder that GymBC is seeking proposals from member clubs interested in hosting the 2024 & 2025: WAG CCP Compulsory, and Artistic WAG Optional, MAG, Trampoline Gymnastics BC Championships events. GymBC would also like to provide Xcel athletes with the opportunity to compete at a GymBC organized event. For clubs wishing to host the 2024 and/or 2025 Compulsory Championships, we are offering the opportunity to add in an additional two days of competition to the weekend event! World Championships: Team Announcement GymCan has announced the 2022 World Championships Team and GymBC is thrilled to announce that BC will be well represented! Huge congratulations to the following athletes: Sydney Turner of TAG Sports Centre, Shallon Olsen of Flicka Gymnastics and Zachary Clay of Twisters Gymnastics. We would also like to congratulate Barb Fraser (TAG) and Richard Ikeda (Twisters) who have been selected as Team Canada coaches as well as Andrée Montreuil who has received a judging assignment. Best of luck to everyone, in Liverpool, UK, from October 29 to November 6, 2022. Go BC!

WAG - Optional Code Update The Virtual Optional Code Update takes place this Saturday, October 22, at 10am. This is a free webinar presented by Momona Komagata and will focus on ‘What’s Different’ than the last code. Registration closes this Friday, October 21, at midnight and the Zoom link will be sent on Saturday morning prior to the session.

MAG Trial #1 Registration for the first MAG trial for Canada Games remains open. The event will be taking place at Langley Gymnastics Foundation. The dates for this event are as follows: - November 11, 2022 — Canada Games Trial #1
- November 12, 2022 — Canada Games Camp (everyone registered for the trial is invited to the camp)
Any athlete born 2004-2011 registered with Gymnastics BC wishing to be selected for the 2023 Canada Games is invited to attend. Registration Deadline: November 4, 2022

Upcoming Learning Facilitator (LF) Training GymBC is excited to announce that we have scheduled LF Training from December 27 – 31 on Vancouver Island. We are offering LF Training for Competition Introduction (C1) MAG and WAG, and Competition Introduction Development (C2) MAG and WAG. Interested applicants are encouraged to be certified at one level higher than the level they intend to facilitate; however if you have extensive experience at the same level exceptions can be made on an individual basis. The application form can be found by clicking on the button below. Please ensure to sure to sign up for Core Training if you are not already an LF. Registration is now open to LFs across Canada.
