2022 GymBC Awards and AGM Weekend Deadlines for the GymBC AGM and Awards Night are fast approaching! Detailed information for both events are available on the respective event pages below. Oct. 22, 2022: Awards and Scholarship Night - only 47 tickets remaining! Ticket registration closes on Wednesday, October 12. Oct. 23, 2022: Annual General Meeting - Calling all GymBC clubs! Registration for the AGM is due by Monday, October 17. Please visit the event page and ensure that all of the required documents are completed. Clubs must complete a voting delegate form in advance of the meeting.

Allocated Funding for the GymBC AGM GymBC has allocated funds to assist club representatives from Zones 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8 who are wishing to attend our AGM in-person. Following the completion of the AGM on October 23, GymBC staff will distribute the funds based on those that have registered and attended the event in-person. - Deadline Extended: 2024 and 2025 BC Optional WAG, MAG and TG Championships
- Deadline Extended: 2024 and 2025 Compulsory Championships (see note above)
- NEW: GymBC would like to provide Xcel athletes with the opportunity to compete at a GymBC organized event. For clubs wishing to host the 2024 and/or 2025 Compulsory Championships, we are offering the opportunity to add in an additional two days of competition to the weekend event!

2022 GFA Program Assembly The GFA Program Assembly will take place virtually on Friday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. PST. All registered GymBC members in good standing are welcome to attend. Please ensure the following documents are completed (as appropriate): - Registration Link
- Registered attendees will receive an e-mail with the meeting agenda and other details closer to the date.
- Voting Delegate Form
- All attending clubs must indicate who the designated voting delegate from their organization will be. The form must be completed by the main club representative/chair/owner. Your designated representative must be confirmed by Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022.
- Each member club may name a maximum of one voting delegate. No votes by proxy are permitted.
- 2022-23 GFA Committee Nomination Form

- All member-at-large positions are up for election. The Chair position will not be up for re-election until 2023.
- Nominations will be accepted until end of day on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022.

Szombathely ART World Challenge Cup Results Huge Congratulations to Sydney Turner and Barb Fraser who were successful for Canada at the Szombathely ART World Challenge Cup in Hungary last weekend. Sydney took home 3 individual apparatus medals; silver on uneven bars, silver on balance beam and bronze on floor. Incredible Results! Go Sydney!

Aboriginal Coaching Module - Victoria Inspire Sports Victoria is pleased to announce that an Aboriginal Coaching Module will be hosted at their facility on Sun, Oct 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This course is open to Indigenous and non-Indigenous coaches, judges, administrators, board members, and all those who care about moving sport forwards in a good way. Thanks to our partners at ISPARC and Inspire Sports, this course is being offered FREE of charge with food and beverages provided throughout the day (including lunch).

Upcoming Learning Facilitator (LF) Training GymBC is happy to announce that we have scheduled LF Training from December 27 – 31 on Vancouver Island. We are offering LF Training for Competition Introduction (C1) MAG and WAG, and Competition Introduction Development (C2) MAG and WAG. Interested applicants are encouraged to be certified at one level higher than the level they intend to facilitate; however if you have extensive experience at the same level exceptions can be made on an individual basis. The application form can be found by clicking on the button below. Please ensure to sure to sign up for Core Training if you are not already an LF. Please note: This training will remain exclusively open to BC coaches until October 15, 2022, after which time it will be open for registration to LFs across Canada.
