2023-24 GymBC Member Club Renewal Reminder

The club membership fee for 2023-24 is $550. Member Club Renewal Forms and/or payments received after August 31, 2023 will be subject to a $50 late fee.

Please complete the renewal form for your club at your earliest convenience. You can find the renewal form on our website.

GymBC is Seeking Four Directors at Large 

Gymnastics BC’s board of Directors is made up of ten volunteers directors: four of whom are elected by the member clubs; four are appointed by the various standing technical committees; and two are appointed by the board as subject matter specialist, including the Director of Finance. Each year at the AGM, GymBC member clubs meet to elect new directors as members of the board. Click here for more information on how to apply. 

GymBC Inclusivity Award - Last Call for Nominations

Just last year, we introduced a new award in our GFA stream of awards - the Inclusivity Award, which aims to recognize individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment within our gymnastics community.

Simply follow this Nomination Form Link to submit your nomination. The form will only take a few minutes to complete, and your participation can truly make a difference.

National Coaches Week - September 16-24

National Coaches Week is September 16-24! Keep an eye on the Education Calendar for reduced cost courses, PD opportunities, and more! As part of National Coaches Week, September 24 will be the first Annual Pro-D Day! Clubs who are able to are encouraged to give their coaches the day off or a day off in lieu so that they are able to attend some of the PD opportunities offered that day!

2023 GFA Retreat

The 2023 GFA Retreat event will be held in Nanaimo, BC at VIP Gymsports over the weekend of August 25-27. Join us as we host a weekend of technical and administrative workshops, social events, and fun activities to get your GFA Coaches and Program Managers recharged and excited for the Fall Session!

GymBC Awards & Scholarships Night & AGM

The GymBC Annual Awards and Scholarships Night presented by Sport Burnaby, and the AGM is happening October 14-15 in the Evergreen Ballroom at the Element Vancouver Metrotown Hotel! This is an incredible weekend to come together, connect with the community, and celebrate our passion for gymnastics together.

2024 BC Winter Games Mentorship Program

Applications for the 2024 BC Games Mentorship Program are Officially open. The deadline to apply for this program is this Saturday August 19, 2023 and mentors are to be name to the program by August 24. If you are interested, please email tfischer@gymbc.org to reach Provincial Advisor, Thorstein.

The BC Games Coach Mentorship Program aims to create a collaborative and nurturing environment for coaches, mentors, and mentees, fostering their growth and development both as individuals and as leaders in their respective sports. Through mentorship, shared experiences, and skill development, this program aims to make a lasting impact on the participants and coaching in BC.
