GymBC Awards & Scholarships Night & AGM

The GymBC Annual Awards and Scholarships Night presented by Sport Burnaby and the AGM is happening this weekend! We are excited to welcome you to the Evergreen Ballroom at the Element Vancouver Metrotown Hotel! This will be an incredible weekend to come together, connect with the community, and celebrate our passion for gymnastics together.

The ticket deadline for Awards and Scholarships has passed and there will be very limited tickets available at the door. Please email events@gymbc.org ASAP if you still need a ticket.

Remembering Jo Willis Stuckenberg

Gymnastics BC is saddened to hear of the passing of Jo Willis Stuckenberg. Known by many as "Coach Jo,” she was a contributing volunteer and GymBC judge for many years. Our thoughts go to Jo's family, friends, and community during this difficult time. 

BC Championships and Gymnaestrada Bidding + 2024-25 Sanctioned Events

GymBC opened bidding for the 2026 and 2027 BC Championships and Xcel Challenge, and the 2025 and 2026 BC Gymnaestrada events. Click here for more information! The deadline to place a bid is December 15, 2023.

GymBC also released the new process for sanctioning events for the 2024-25 season. Click here for information on how the new process operates. The first round for submitting sanction requests opens December 1, 2023. 

2024 Gymnastics BC Championships & GymBC Xcel Challenge

• March 28-30, 2024: 2024 WAG Optional, MAG, and TG Gymnastics BC Championships 
• April 11-12, 2024: 2024 Compulsory Gymnastics BC Championships 
• April 13-14, 2024: 2024 GymBC Xcel Challenge  

Preliminary information for all events will be circulated to clubs in November. Please email events@gymbc.org with any questions. 

2024 BC Gymnaestrada

The 2024 BC Gymnaestrada Event will take place May 4-5, 2024. This year's theme: Back to the 80's!

New GFA Program - Fitter For Life

GymBC in partnership with Gymnastics Australia are excited to announce the launch of the Fitter for Life program.

Fitter for Life is a program that was created by Gymnastics Australia and the Australian Physiotherapy Association to deliver a safe and enjoyable way for older adults to re-engage in physical activity, as well as increasing social participation to promote engagement.
