RE: Call for Coaches - 2026 Sask Winter Games

Gymnastics Saskatchewan is now accepting coach applications for the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games, taking place February 15–18, 2026 in Meadow Lake, SK.

Each District will send two coaches — 1 Head Coach and 1 Assistant Coach — who will also serve as team managers during the Games.

Coach Eligibility Requirements:

  • If one coach is male, the other must be female.
  • Head Coach: Competition 1 Certified or NCCP Level 2 Certified (any discipline)
  • Assistant Coach: Competition 1 Trained or NCCP Level 2 Technical (any discipline)
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (valid within 3 years of the Games) must be included with the application 

Important Details:

  • All selected coaches must travel with and stay in the athlete village as required by the Saskatchewan Games Council.
  • Accommodation, meals, and travel costs will be fully covered by Sask Games Council.
  • Selection committee includes the Gym Sask Technical Director and WAG Program Coordinator.
  • Coaches will be selected based on certification level and prior experience.
