MAG Team BC Edmonton Trip The Team BC MAG team travelled to Edmonton, AB from March 9-13. Our team was composed of two teams of five athletes each. Acrobatic Success at Saltos Gym Challenge In attendance at the Saltos Gym Challenge in Edmonton last weekend was the competitive acrobatic program led by Shawna DeLeske. A huge congrats to our acro athletes for a phenomenal showing! They are returning home with the following results: - Mixed Pairs (Sebastien and Erica): Gold

WAG: ShowTime College Bound Camp Calgary Gymnastics Centre is partnering with ShowTime to offer Canadian gymnasts an opportunity to attend a fun training camp from July 1-3, 2022! Gymnasts will be directly coached by multiple Div 1 and Div 2 NCAA coaches. The camp is best suited for L8+ athletes. Personal coaches are not required to attend with athletes. If you are a L8+ athlete hoping to continue with the sport at the NCAA level, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss! Information sessions for athletes and parents on the NCAA recruiting process (among other topics) will be offered during the event. TG: HP Athletes Training Camp GymBC and the TG Technical Committee are very excited to once again welcome our HP athletes a second intense and fun filled training camp in Whistler from May 7-8, 2022. Guest clinician will be Denis Vachon (National DMT Advisor), Jason Burnett (Provincial Program Advisor) and Kirsty Porter (TG Chair, KGTC). The 2-day event will be highlighted with a mock competition. Registration will open on the GymBC event calendar at 10:00am PST on March 20, 2022. Interested athletes are encourage to register early as space is limited.

2022 WAG Program Assembly GymBC and the WTC invite all interested competitive WAG community members to attend our 2022 assembly. We will hold a hybrid meeting with both live and virtual attendance options (the Zoom link is in the agenda, link below). This will take place on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 7:00pm (following the Technical Meeting) at the North Surrey Sports & Ice Complex in conjunction with the 2022 Artistic BC Championships. WAG Athlete Representative Position The position of Athlete Representative will be vacant as of April 4th, 2022, and the WTC is currently accepting nominations for this position until March 20th, 2022.
