✨ MAG News ✨Canada’s junior gymnasts delivered an impressive performance at the Junior Pan American Championships, earning five medals across the team and all-around competitions! 🙌 The Canadian team secured silver medals in both the men’s and women’s team events, while adding three all-around medals through standout individual performances. 💪 In summary, Jaydon captured the following medals: Gold on Floor 🥇

✨ WAG News ✨All locations and hosts for the WAG camps and competitions for the 2026-2027 season have been confirmed. Please visit the AGF calendar of events for more details on upcoming events! 🗓️ During the summer, AGF and the WPC will be working on planning all of our fall camps. 🍁 Camps will be offered for all levels from Xcel and Compulsory to Optional and High Performance. Registration information will be sent in August and September! 👏 As a reminder, Alberta will continue to use the 2022-2026 Code of Points this upcoming season. Also, the updated Aspire and Youth programs have been shared with all clubs and are posted on the GymCan Activity Messenger website! 🙌 |

✨ TG News ✨The T&T Calendar of events has been added to the AGF events page! 🗓️ We are excited for the changes and opportunities this season brings with increased training camps and coach education. 👤 Coimbra World Cup and Gym Fest have wrapped up, and we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the athletes and coaches that attended. This was an incredible event, and we hope that you all had a great time! Check out this recap post for a full list of attendees as well as lots of amazing group photos! 📸 Additionally, the F.A.S.T working group has met and are currently working on updates for the 2026-2027 Season. This information will be released by September 1st! Registration has extended to Tuesday, August 4th at 9am, and you can secure your spot here! 🙌 Great job at Canadian Gymnaestrada, everyone! 🎉 AGF athletes and coaches brought all the fun, excitement and camaraderie over to Saskatchewan for the 2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada. What a busy summer it’s been in your Finance department! Currently, I am hunkered down in the (air-conditioned 🥵) office completing our year-end processes and getting ready for the annual audit. 🧮🤓📲 I’m also very happy to note that last season, our community was comprised of over fifty-two thousand members who joined seventy-five AGF clubs! That’s fantastic, and I cannot wait to report on the rest of our operations at the AGM in October. In the coming months, several of your AGF staff will be jetting out to attend conventions that will bring fresh ideas to our federation. I am looking forward to the CPA National Conference in Québec City to learn about leadership, data integrity, AI, and the state of the Canadian Economy. Next month, Robin McDougall and Carolyn Foster are attending the USAG National Congress in Phoenix to study problem solving, program updates, and various ways to add value to our clubs. Finally, our casino takeover this month at the ACE Casino Airport in Calgary was a resounding success. 🎰💰Another big thank you goes out to our volunteers. They all worked some long hours and late nights; we truly appreciate your efforts! In the coming weeks, we will find out how much money we earned for their clubs and our sport. Keep cool everyone, and we’ll see you next month! 😎 |

Robin - The best thing I've done this summer? Soaking up the sun, water, and family time on Georgian Bay, and tucking a little extra sunshine away by booking a beach getaway for November. 🏖️ Kate - The best thing of the year, let alone the summer, was getting to meet my baby niece in person! 🍼 Haleigh - The most fun thing I’ve done so far this summer is celebrate 11 years with my fiance! We got to try a new ramen restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! 🍜❤️ Shortly after, we also announced our upcoming elopement for this fall. We can’t wait! 👰♀️ Will - Been golfing every weekend since July has started. You know what they say, consistency is key. ⛳️ Craig - I’m pretty proud to have hit my personal goal of 40 chicken wings at all-you-can-eat lol 🍗😋🫃 Jackie - Had a wonderful time hanging out with our baseball family and watching the boys win all their games during Provincials, including the Championship. ⚾️ Jacinda - Made a trip to Red Deer for a lazy river day. I would recommend going on a weekday as we did! I wasn’t as long as I would have hoped but I definitely had fun! Would recommend! ☀️ Carolyn - I spent the first 3 weeks of my summer in Europe and I honestly couldn’t pick any favourites. It was all beautiful! ✈️ Ray - Golfing and tennis with my two boys!! ⛳️ |
