This change will not affect Refugees or Family Class immigrants. This change will only affect Economic Class immigrants. Do you know what your immigration class is? The Community Food Cupboard is open to all community members in response to the rising cost of food. Free, non-perishable foods are available every Monday and Wednesday from 1pm-4pm at 20 Sandstone Terrace, Canmore. Everyone is welcome. Filing your taxes on time every year is important. There are many benefits for individuals and families that you must file taxes to receive. You can get support with filing taxes on April 15 in Banff. Drop in to speak one‑on‑one with agents from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Get help with: - CRA online accounts
- printing Notices of Assessment
- questions about taxes and federal benefits/programs including the Canadian Dental Care Plan, Employment Insurance (EI), and seniors/disability benefits (OAS, CPP, CPP Disability, and special benefits such as sickness and maternity).
